As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
No one is meant to go on this journey we call the Christian life alone. In fact, the Bible directs us to seek out authentic relationships with people who are imperfect just like us, and when we do, somehow with God’s presence we grow spiritually together!
At Crosspoint, Growth Groups are a community within a community where you connect with people, grow in your relationship with God and really experience life together.
They are designed to be encouraging and a lot of fun!

Our Purpose:
We live in an increasingly fragmented and disconnected world. It feels scary and threatening to allow ourselves to be known or to invest in knowing someone else at a deep level. It is much easier and more convenient to stay on the surface. Yet when we take the risk of being authentic with a small group of people, we can experience God's grace and love coming through others, which leads to
freedom and transformation.

At Crosspoint we believe that the Bible teaches that everybody should be in a community within a community. God does not want us to go through this Christian life alone. He directs us into relationships were we can love and be loved; and we know that these genuine relationships make our lives rich. The Bible says in
Genesis 2:18 "It is not good for man to be alone." The apostles learned from Jesus and each other and were ready to bring the hope of the Gospel to the world.

God Himself is in a community of three persons in one - the Father, The Son and Holy Spirit - who exist in perfect unity. So it is not surprising that God inherently created us to be in community with one another. When He wanted to change the world, He started with a small group. He discipled the apostles in the unique environment of a small group, where trust, honesty and relational authenticity could be most
effectively modeled.
